Welcome to my fundraising page for the 777 Marathon event!  Everyone knows I'm a mad keen runner, now it's time to put all those KM to use helping to protect Aussie kids from sexual assault.

Click the 'sponsor me' link to support my efforts in meeting my fundraising goal of $15,000 for Bravehearts.  I intend to work very hard to earn your $$$ by running 7 marathons, in 7 states of Australia in 7 consecutive days. Starting in Perth on Monday 1st July 2019, followed by Adelaide, Canberra, Melbourne, Hobart, Sydney, and finishing with the Gold Coast marathon on Sunday 7 July.  I'll be spending this coming year training to prepare myself for the event.  Likely to be the toughest challenge I've set myself so far, the rewards are worth it.

Any contribution you can spare will help to make a difference and I genuinely appreciate the support. If you wish to provide corporate or in kind support please feel free to contact me via email;

I'm dedicating my run(s) to my niece, Jessica, who passed away in December 2016.  She worked in child care, loved children, and would always brighten up the day of those around her.  She would have been a wonderful mother and done wonderful things and I do this in her memory and to be an inspiration for my daughter, Taylah.

Also if anyone wants to come and run part or all of any of the marathons with me I would very much appreciate the company.  Ask me about how to do this...

Here's a little about Bravehearts;

Bravehearts is Australia’s leading child protection organisation, founded in 1997 by Hetty Johnston following her young daughter’s disclosure of sexual assault. Finding there was no organisation to turn to for help, Hetty established Bravehearts to provide advice and support to those affected by child sexual assault.

Bravehearts now employs over 65 people across Australia providing world-class child protection training and education initiatives; specialist child sexual assault counselling and support services; as well as research and reform campaigns to work holistically to prevent child sexual assault in our society.
