2017 CFC International Family Conference Fundraiser

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! From this site, you can register for our fundraiser, start or join a team, set a goal, and begin raising money in support of our Ninth International Cardio-Facio-Cutaneous (CFC) Family Conference near Houston, Texas on June 28 - July 1, 2017.

The event will bring about 350 people representing over 50 families together to meet with researchers and also 15 experts on CFC syndrome: geneticists, cardiologists, orthopedics, dermatologists, and more. It’s like a family reunion where the kids get to visit all of their “CFC” friends from all over the world, and contribute to research that might help other people diagnosed with CFC syndrome! The conference is important for parents too, because they attend interactive talks with medical experts, and connect with other families who understand exactly what they are going through and can share their experiences.

All donations go directly to CFC International to pay for the conference. Conferences are expensive and our last one in Seattle cost $75,000. The funds we hope to raise will cover child care, AV equipment, a memorial ceremony for the kids who are no longer with us, rooms for the doctors and speakers, meals, bus rental for our outing. Any remaining funds will be used to provide information to families and to support and encourage research for CFC syndrome.

Your gift is tax deductible as allowed by law in the US as CFC International is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.

We are grateful for you! Your support of CFC International is bringing our families together for research, education, and support at our 2017 Conference. Thank you!
