Welcome to Kulanu's fundraising page for the Kulanu-Abayudaya School Nutrition Fund! This fund supports a program that feeds close to 800 Jewish, Muslim and Christian students at the elementary and high schools of the Abayudaya Jewish community in Uganda (see www.kulanu.org/abayudaya for more). Since implementing a breakfast and lunch program, the schools have seen students improve academically, and dropout/absentee rates drop dramatically, as students no longer have to worry about where their next meal will come from, or sacrifice time in the classroom to look for a substantial lunch. With your generosity, this program can continue to provide two nutritious meals a day to nearly 800 Ugandan students.
From this page, you can register to start or join a fundraising team, set a goal, and begin raising money in support of our breakfast and lunch program at the two Abayudaya schools! You can also simply donate to our fundraisers or search for other participants and donate toward their goals. Thank you so much for helping change these kids' lives.

**Please note that this fundraising page (created in July, 2011) does not represent all donations received for this program. The new $45,000 goal, as of summer-fall 2012, represents the $5,000 needed to complete the 2011-2012 school year, and $40,000 for the 2012-2013 budget. "All of us" at Kulanu are grateful for the support received since the start of this fundraiser for the Kulanu-Abayudaya School Nutrition Program, and continue to appreciate the involvement of all of us!
