Abigail Hohenstreet, Ratio Christi Chapter Director

Hello, friends!  Welcome to my fundraising site!

I am the Ratio Christi Chapter Director at the University of California Berkeley.

Not only do I want to help Christians become strong in their faith, but I also emphasize compassionate outreach to those who remain unsure about the Gospel.  As a trained apologist, I am in the ministry of helping students fearlessly figure out why they believe what they believe.

All Ratio Christi missionaries are required to establish a monthly support team in order to support the ministry and to get resources for the students.  Working together in ministry is the most beautiful way to build a lasting relationship, and I would love to have you on my team!

You can either click on Make a Donation in the right column, or if you would prefer to mail a check you may write it to Ratio Christi and send it to:

Ratio Christi, P.O. Box 9, Indian Trail, NC  28079

In the check Memo line write: #430048 Abigail Hohenstreet

Please note: According to IRS rules, contributions are solicited with the understanding that Ratio Christi has complete discretion and control over the use of all donated funds. All checks must be made payable to Ratio Christi.

About me:

I have a passion for strategizing about cross-national missions in order to offer the best assistance for those in oppressive environments.  I'm thrilled to take part in Ratio Christi's work because I get to equip people with intellectual, spiritual, and emotional resources they need in order to flourish.  Because university students go on to become influential thinkers and leaders in their respective fields, it is important for us to help them work through difficult life questions so that not only will their lives be changed for the better, but also to impact the future culture and generations on the way.

My academic preparation includes earning degrees in English Literature, Psychology, Political Science, Apologetics, and Biblical Counseling, all emphasizing recovery for victims of crisis and trauma; I studied at North Idaho College, Purdue University, University of Oxford, and Luther Rice University.  Field experience includes social work, specialized therapy for mental and behavioral health institutions, management for inner city ministries in St.Louis, teaching discipleship in the Pacific Northwest, and research assistance regarding Philosophy of Religion.

Much of my preparation is a result of the loving support and discipleship I've gotten from my home church over the years; I'm grateful to have served them as pianist, mentor, and administrator, and I'm grateful for their prayers as I continue on in ministry.  I'm blessed beyond words -- as the youngest of seven, an aunt to thirteen, and a woman reinforced with strong friendships, I will always give an apologetic for the truth that sharing the love of Christ is the most fulfilling blessing in the universe!
