The Townsville Civic Theatre is located at 41 Boundary Street. It is approx. 3kms from the city and 2.4kms from Palmer Street. Public transport is limited however Council runs a special bus during AFCM. The final route will be published on our website closer to the Festival. The cost is $5 each way. It may be quicker and easier to catch a taxi - the cost from Palmer Street would be approx. $12 one way. If you’re fit and energetic, walking is an option, allow 30 minutes. The theatre has plenty of free parking, as do all of the hotels so hiring a car is another option.
