We are excited to announce our new AFCM Friends program, and with it some very special benefits. The AFCM Friends program replaces Membership as your way to access priority booking periods, discounted tickets and program information prior to general release. What's more, a major benefit is the ability to purchase your Gold subscription or Gold Plus subscription (formally Gold and Platinum passes) before Christmas!
You may have already received an invitation from us in the mail, if not, look out for it in the coming days. Once you join the AFCM Friends program you can purchase your Gold or Gold Plus subscription as early as the 3rd of December onwards. Plus, AFCM Friends will get a sneak peek at Kathryn Stott's 2019 program including some of the musicians performing, from the 1st of December! Everyone else will have to wait until the 25th of February to see the program and purchase tickets. So check your mailbox now, the physical one. Or jump over to our website and become an AFCM Friend
If you became a member for two years in 2018, you have automatically been transferred to our Friends Program and will be sent an email on 1 December with details on how to access the program preview.
What's the difference?
AFCM Friends program includes increased benefits over membership:
1. Program preview from 1 December 2018
2. Priority booking for Gold and Gold Plus subscriptions from 3 December 2018
3. Up to 10% discount on subscriptions, packages and single tickets
4. Priority booking from 11 February 2019 for single tickets & Festival packages prior to the AFCM Official Launch
5. AFCM Friends updates in Newsletters
6. An AFCM Friends breakfast with Artistic Director Kathryn Stott during the Festival
Company Membership no longer includes ticketing discounts or benefits, although the rights and obligations enshrined in the AFCM constitution are unchanged. Those supporters who do wish to have a role in the governance of the company may do so by applying for 2019 company membership
We are confident that the vast majority of current members are better served by being able to support the Festival as AFCM Friends, rather than having legal obligations as company members. Please be assured that these changes will help us to provide you with an even more enjoyable Festival experience.
Please do contact us
should you have any questions or queries.
With kind regards
The AFCM Team
