The APHINITY trial has reached its recruitment target ahead of schedule!
APHINITY is a large, randomised phase III study that compares two courses of treatment in patients with operable, HER2-positive, primary breast cancer.  4800 patients were recruited from 564 sites across 42 countries, including sites in Europe, Asia, Australia, North and South America.
BIG groups play a major role in APHINITY:  290 of the sites are affiliated with BIG member groups in 24 different nations, and these sites contributed more than 55% of the total enrolled patients.
