March Quarterly Membership Meeting

We're trying something new at BCB - moving our usual Sunday Membership Meeting to Thursday afternoon from 3pm to 5pm. We've heard from many members requesting a change because they could not make it on Sundays and we're happy to oblige!

Currently we have an average of 35 people who attend our Membership Meetings and we'd love to grow that number in 2015!

Join us at our Membership Meeting on Thursday, March 5th from 3pm to 5pm at the BCB office. We will have a business meeting from 3pm - 4pm and then dinner will be served at 4pm. The topic of the month will be announced on March 1st! We encourage members and friends to come with ideas on the topic of the month to share during dinner.

Dinner will be Lee's Famous Recipe. We would like to thank board member Charles Sidney for getting us such a great deal! Please RSVP before March 3rd to guarantee your meal.

We hope you'll join us! This is a great time to renew your membership if you have not yet for 2015. We accept cash, check, and credit card.

Save the Date for the SEE Cruise!
Sunday, April 12th 3pm to 7pm

Planning for SEE Cruise is in full swing at BCB! We have been working hard on our auction baskets and sponsors.

Auction baskets are looking really good this year, you can look forward to items from businesses such as Good Foods, Hilton Downtown, Jim Beam, Holiday World, Salsarita's, Hanger's, Lexington Legends, Kentucky Horse Park, EKU Center for the Arts, and the Cheesecake Factory!

We'd also like to thank the UK Delta Gammas for filling 20 of our volunteer spots in less than 30 minutes!

Join us at Southside Pub for the SEE Cruise on Sunday, April 12th from 3pm to 7pm!

You May be Eligible for Free Tax Prep!
Taken from United Way's email about Central Kentucky Economic Empowerment Project

FREE federal and state tax preparation is available for qualifying families through the Central Kentucky Economic Empowerment Project (CKEEP.)

CKEEP is led by United Way of the Bluegrass (UWBG) and partners with the IRS to provide free tax prep, raise awareness about the Earned Income Tax Credit and help local families build assets.

Thanks to the work of hundreds of certified volunteer tax preparers at our 17 local tax sites, more families in the Bluegrass will be able to save their hard earned money and build assets, while helping to strengthen the economy in Central Kentucky.
