S.N.O.W. Camp March 20-22, 2015
                                    Registration begins January 1, 2015
Camp Supporting New Opportunities through Winter Sports is a three-day two night residential camp for young adults and adults age 15 and older with intellectual and or developmental disabilities.  S.N.O.W. Camp 2015 consists of two days of downhill snow skiing, or snowboarding and one day of snowshoeing and or sledding at Granlibakken. 
March 20th – Granlibakken Ski Resort
March 21st – Homewood Ski Resort  
March 22nd – Snowshoeing/Sledding Granlibakken Resort          
S.N.O.W. Camp will provide all transportation to and from resort, lodge and activities.  Lodging will be provided at Granlibakken Resort, in Truckee CA.  All activities, food, lodging, transportation and equipment are covered under Camp fees.  Campers will only need a small amount of spending money at your own discretion.  Campers and Staff will arrive back in Sacramento by 4:45pm Sunday March 22, 2015
Cost: $ 425.00   Payment plans can be arranged upon approval.

2015 Challenge Sports Winter Indoor Leagues
It's registration time for the 2015 Challenge Sports Winter Indoor Leagues!  Attached you will find an informational flyer and registration forms for Winter Indoor Basketball and Soccer.  
A few notes:
• This is a 15 week league starting on Jan 11, 2015 and ending on April 26, 2015 (no play on Easter Sunday).  For the youngest players only, their league consists of 8 weeks of basketball, then switches to 7 weeks of soccer. 
• All play is on Sundays at the Orangevale Park and Recreation Gym, 6826 Hazel Ave. in Orangevale.  You will be contacted with your playing time.   
• Basketball shirts are ordered on January 12th.  If you don't indicate a size on the registration form, a t-shirt can't and won't be ordered for you.  Please clearly indicate a  t-shirt size.

The UC Davis MIND Istitute is looking for boys and girls, adolescents, and young adults with Down syndrome to participate in a Research Study on SPOKEN LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT IN DOWN SYNDROME If you know someone with Down syndrome between the ages of 6 and 23 years of age and would like to know more about this study, please

The UC Davis MIND Institute is currently recruiting for a clinical trial assessing the safety and efficacy of an investigational targeted treatment for adolescents (aged 12 - 17) with Down syndrome.
