DSIA 2012 Annual Report

Letter from the President
The past year has been an active one for our organization. I hope that you will review the statistics and photos we have offered in this annual report.
In addition to the families served, our board was busy in 2012 with efforts to strengthen our organization that included:
  • Addition of three new board members
  • Brand New Website
  • Development of a Teen and Adult Self Advocate Program
  • Partnership with UC Davis MIND Institute
We hope you will see, we believe in operating our organization as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Our organization provides services to many families of the Sacramento and surrounding counties who have a child with Down syndrome. We could not do that without the generous donations and support from you the community.
To those of you who are not involved, I ask that you consider becoming a member and/or donating to our organization.
Heather Green
President, Program Coordinator and Founding Member

For others, it’s a great vacation. But, for nearly all, there is the one-of-a-kind family feeling family reunion feeling that permeates the whole convention weekend.
