Remembering Our Founder, Mr. Samuel Belzberg

The DMRF and DMRF Canada Board of Directors and staff are heartbroken to report that Chairman and Co-Founder Samuel Belzberg died on March 30 following a massive stroke. He passed away surrounded by his family. Sam is survived by his wife of 68 years, Fran; his children, Cheri, Marc, Wendy and Lisa; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

It’s back! We are so excited to announce that registration for Chuck’s Run, Walk and Wheel for Dystonia is now live. Chuck’s Run will be held on June 3rd, 2018 in High Park, Toronto. This year we want to give you more chances to save on registration - and actively fundraise for the cause. You can register for free this year if you commit to raising $150 or more by May 28, 2018, or you can save over 20% by registering by the Early-Bird deadline of May 7th.  Sign up here.

Founded by Sumbul Zafar, Laps of Love is an inspiring campaign dedicated to raising awareness and funds for dystonia. Sumbul has swam 3,041 laps, brining her over 40% of the wat to her goal of 10, 000 laps!

Please join us for this year's Sudbury Freedom to Move Walk for Dystonia. The walk will take place Sunday, June 10th, 2018 at Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre 4040 Elmview Drive, Hanmer, Ontario.

Calling Volunteers for Edmonton Casino 
We need your help!
 
We are looking for volunteers to help staff the DMRF Canada Edmonton Casino at WEM on May 23rd and 24th. Each vounteer will contribute equal to $2000.00 in time given to the effort, and funds will suport local Edmonton initiatives and DMRF Canada research. We are in particular need of night-shift volunteeres!
