Chat & Snack
Can you help us make some connections?
The Family Support Network of Greater Forsyth provides three outreach events a month at our local hospitals.  We partner with local groups and restaurants who would like to provide dinner to families who have children at Brenner Children’s Hospital or in one of our local Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Units.  We are currently looking for groups who are interested in providing volunteers and food for an event in 2017.

Do you have a connection with a volunteer group, civic organization or restaurant that might like to sponsor a “CHAT & SNACK” at one of our local hospitals?  Please call the Family Support Network office at 336-703-4289 for more details about this wonderful community service.

3-2-1 Deacon Dash for Down Syndrome
Fun Run and 5K Race
Saturday, March 25, 2017
1 Mile Fun Run at 8:00 AM & 5K Race at 8:30 AM

If you're a runner, you love to cross finish lines.  So what's better than crossing one finish line??  Crossing TWO FINISH LINES!! The 3-2-1 Dash for Down Syndrome celebrates the individuals who have an extra (3rd) copy of the 21st chromosome, so this race has a little something extra too! Official times will be recorded at the 5K finish line, but runners dash the extra 0.11 mile to a second finish line at 3.21 miles, in honor of the 3rd copy of the 21st chromosome present in individuals with Down syndrome. And once you cross that first finish line, you'll be joined by DASHers with Down syndrome to cheer you on as you cross the 3.21 line.

Register at Bit.ly/PDSSN-Deacon-Dash-2017 and add a little something extra to your day on March 25! More information can be found HERE.
