We are excited to announce that enrollment is now open for ABC of NC’s Aspire Class, serving elementary-aged students with autism spectrum disorder who are performing at or near grade level in most academic areas, but are struggling in more traditional classroom settings, including private, charter, and public schools.

Making Work Work for Families and Guardians 
North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities
“Making Work Work for Families and Guardians” is a day-long workshop sponsored by the North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities to provide individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their family members and guardians with tools to navigate employment services. Takes place Friday, September 22 in Cary NC.

IDD Advisory Looking for Additional Members
Cardinal Innovations
The IDD Advisory to the LME/MCO under Cardinal is being reinstated following a one year gap. They are looking for additional members including adults with an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD), family members, community members, and providers of IDD services residing in the Cardinal Innovations Triad catchment area. Meetings take place monthly on Thursday evenings from 5:30 - 7:30. This advisory has a 40 year history of providing advocacy to the LME/MCO. Their mission is to improve the lives of people with IDD in our communities.
