Making Holidays Merry for Local Families
More than 500 items received from area toy and gift drives

The week before Christmas was bustling with activity at the Community House when we received hundreds of toys, games, coats, hats, and more donated by many organizations and individuals for the families we serve. Thanks to everyone who generously opened their hearts and donated this holiday season!
We would especially like to thank Ed Granfield from Oyster River Energy, Chris Walsh from Duffy's Tavern, Dr. Tartagni from Shoreline Dental, Arti Dixson from JA Music, LLC, Dottie Celata from Eder Bros and John Ziada from Z's Corner Cafe for organizing the holiday toy and gift drives, as well as our board members and staff who also participated. Read more here.
Seeking Input for Needs Assessment
Help us plan for the next generation
We are looking to expand our youth programs, and we need your help. We are asking West Haven families to complete a short survey to help us understand what they think are the greatest needs for youth in our community. We apprecaite your input and will share the results when the needs assessment is completed. Click here for more information or click here to view the survey.
