Partnering With Us Has BenefitsArticle Image
For 75 years, the Community House has served as THE cornerstone social service agency in West Haven. We have come a long way since 1941, but we still need your support. State-wide budget cuts have made it more difficult for us to continue to provide the level of service that so many families rely on each day.

We invite you to become a Corporate Sponsor for the year by providing a single donation that supports our special events, eliminating multiple requests. In return, your company’s support is promoted throughout the year highlighting your business and brand while reinforcing your reputation as a leader in our community.  Click here to learn more about our sponsorship opportunities.

Winfield and DiMassa visit Community Connections
At the request of one of our client’s Mom – Paula Hennes (Mom of Ralph), Senator Gary Winfield and Representative Michael DiMassa visited the Community Connections Headquarters on Campbell Avenue.

After a brief discussion about our programs for adults with intellectual disabilities, Mrs Hennes spoke movingly about the importance of both Residential and Day programs for individuals like her son Ralph. She acknowledged how significant these programs are, not only for the clients, but also for the families of the individuals. Parents can be assured that their loved ones are well taken care of and are engaged in meaningful activities that provide them the opportunity to learn new skills. The program works with the individual and family to increase independence, enhance community integration, and improve the quality of life.

Both men were very supportive of our work and challenges and spoke highly of the services we provide for families, children and for adults with intellectual disabilities.  Many thanks to Senator Winfield and Representative DiMassa for visiting.
