15th Annual Fashion Show Fundraiser
 A Night to Remember
On October 13th, The Larrabee Center held our 15th Annual Trinkets & Togs Fashion Show Fundraiser. It was truly a night to remember. Held at the Waverly Country Club and emceed by Dr Celina Peerman, the event showcased clients, staff and their families, customers of Trinkets & Togs and community members modeling fashions from
the thrift store and bringing awareness to the
mission of The Larrabee Center.
Those in attendance enjoyed live music from The Chocolate Crackers while enjoying refreshments and shopping the Trinkets Boutique. Fund were raised through the Raffle and Silent Auction, sponsored by local businesses with 100% of proceeds benefiting our Employment Support Services. This year’s event raised over $8,600! And it could not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors.
We would like to give a special THANK YOU to our top sponsors:
Supporting Seniors
At the end of the summer, we held our annual 65-65 Campaign to raise funds for our Senior Services Program. We were humbled by the outpouring of support from the community. We raised $2,860.00 through this campaign. These funds help provide essential services to seniors in our community, allowing them to maintain their quality of life and live safely in their own home. Our services not only benefit our clients, but also give peace of mind to their loved ones.
We’d like to extend our gratitude to Ed & Rose Bahlmann, Dr John & Edna Brunkhorst, Steve & Micki Denner, Gary Duneman, Jan & Wayne Fiscus, Reid & Marsha Koenig, Tom & Elaine Lawler, Margaret Phelps, Mark & Linda Podhajsky, Allyn Ramker, Dean & Suzanne Shoars, Jean Waschkat, and Mary Wells.
We would also like to thank and recognize the following local businesses who support our mission: Kaiser Corson Funeral Homes, KC Auto Body, LTD, and REMAX Home Group Signature Realty.
Community Partners
We can’t do what we do alone. We are so grateful for partners in the community who help us fulfill our mission.
We are pleased to have received the support of Veridian Credit Union Fund for helping us further our mission of inclusion for all individuals in the community.
We are honored by our continued partnership with the Waverly-Shell Rock Area United Way. Together, we are able to provide employment supports to youth and adults with disabilities through on-the-job training at local businesses including Trinkets & Togs Thrift Store.
We would like to recognize Kristi Demuth, American Family Insurance Agent in Waverly for her continued support of our mission and to the American Family Insurance Dreams Foundation for their belief that all individuals should be valued members of their community.
We have a day for giving thanks, two days for getting deals, and a day to GIVE!
Join the global day of giving the Tuesday after Thanksgiving!
Together we can make difference!
