Help us celebrate our success with
two soccer champions on Oct. 25
Join the Off the Sideline community as we celebrate our success during an evening of fun, food and special guests. The Level the Playing Field event will be held Oct. 25 at the Legacy Emanuel Atrium. We're pleased to welcome Portland soccer greats Nat Borchers and Adrianna Franch, who will share their experiences and tell their stories about youth sports in our communities. They'll also be around to answer questions and sign autographs during the evening.

Your $25 ticket includes food, beverages courtesy of Stoller Family Estates and Widmer Brothers Brewing, and an adidias employee store pass. You'll also receive a prize drawing entry. This year our prizes include a Columbia River sailing cruise, two nights at a beautiful Black Butte vacation home (including ski passes), a signed Portland Timbers team ball, a Portland Trail Blazers practice jersey signed by Jake Layman and two 100-level game tickets, New Balance backpacks and duffle bags courtesy of Portland Accessories, gift certificates from Lovely's Fifty Fifty and Teote restaurants, and much more.

Special thanks to our MVP sponsor adidas, and our supporting sponsors Heritage Bank and NW Natural.

Timbers honor Off the Sideline
Off the Sideline was one of the Portland Timbers Community Grant honorees during halftime of the Sept. 8 match against the Colorado Rapids. Grants are awarded to organizations with a focus on youth health and wellness, with an emphasis on soccer and inclusiveness, embracing all ability levels.

We hope you'll join the Portland Timbers and help kids by donating to Off the Sideline to help kids get and stay healthy.

AM Northwest features Off the Sideline's efforts

KATU's AM Northwest recently featured a segment on Off the Sideline's work to help fund kids' sports dreams in Multnomah, Washington and Clackmas County communities. Founder and Executive Director Leslie Mestman joined AM Northwest host Helen Raptis, sharing our latest success stories and information on our upcoming annual fundraiser and celebration.

Leslie also provided information on how families can work through our community partners to see if they are eligible for scholarships for youth in grades five through nine to play team sports.

Thanks to Helen and KATU's AM Northwest for helping get the word out about our organization.
