We had a busy start to the year by collaborating with the Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance (ARMA), to bring their annual lecture on 29th January featuring Dame Carol Black, who highlighted the need to support people with musculoskeletal conditions in the workplace.
Read our CEO's blog on the topic.
Also, over the weekend, we held our first Self-Management Event in Warrington with great success. Read full story on our website.
And finally, we were excited to see our Dietitian Martin Lau on BBC One's show Food:Truth of Scare, talking about diet and rheumatoid arthritis. You can catch the show on BBC iPlayer for a few more weeks!
Our self-management leaflet
We are hoping to take part in the next British Patient Information Awards in their Self-Care Resources category, and are looking to find out your thoughts about our new self-management leaflet (link opens pdf).
We invite you to have a read and submit your views here in a short survey, to find out how useful you have found our leaflet.
This questionnaire does not require any information that will identify you. Deadline for completing the survey is 22nd February.
Have your say
Focus Group
Do you have arthritis and want to help us with our market research?
In a bid to identify how to approach younger audiences, we are putting together a Focus Group to better understand the needs of this audience.
If you are aged 25-45 and can be in London for a two-hour session, register your interest by emailing info@arthritisaction.org.uk. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
We will be in touch with more details, directly.
