If you enjoyed the Angst documentary, you will LOVE the new LIKE documentary that explores the impact of social media on our lives.  Technology is a tool.  It's here to stay and social platforms are a place to connect, share and care, but what's really happening?

By understanding the effects of technology and social media on the brain, on our lives and on our civilization, we can learn how to navigate it more safely together. Join YSB to watch LIKE and take a look at how we can make positive changes, when using technology and social media.

What's That Called Again?

The use of substances has been around for centuries but what was popular 10 years ago may not be the drug of choice now. YSB has some great resources to help keep on top of what our kids are coming into contact with.

 Nation Wide Vaping Epidemic

There has been a 78 PERCENT INCREASE in current vaping use among high schoolers in the last year. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is calling it an Epidemic in the schools. District 833 and YSB are planning an Electronic Cigarette/Vaping educational presentation for parents to learn more about this current trend, how to spot one, and how you can support your child. There will be a presentation at East Ridge High School and afterwards a panel for you to ask questions.  Check back for details and watch for updates from D833!
