Ways to Get Involved
Article ImageChildhood Cancer Awareness Month (CCAM) is recognized every September by childhood cancer organizations across the country to increase awareness and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure. Our goal is to raise awareness for childhood cancer and funds for research to support the children, families, and communities who have been affected. Learn more about ways to Go Gold every September!
One Year Later
An Update on Dylan
We first met Dylan Pogodzinski in 2019 when we interviewed him and his family about their experience during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. When he was just four years old Dylan was diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma, a rare and fast-growing cancer. After six difficult rounds of chemotherapy, Dylan was pronounced cancer free. Now one year later, we revisit Dylan to learn more about how he's doing today.
