Mighty Myles
Searching for Hope
Article Image7-year old Myles Franzke was enjoying his life as a first grader until one day his mother Danielle noticed a rash. After trying some Benadryl which had no effect, Danielle took Myles to the doctor. Their family doctor decided that the best option would be to run a full blood panel to determine the cause of the rash. “That day, I left the doctor’s office with a pit in my stomach”, she remembers. Less than 24 hours later, the phone rang, and Danielle received the news that would change her life.
The Trek 100 Riders
Take on New Challenges
With the ongoing situation with COVID-19, the planning committee for the event determined that the safest course of action was to take the event virtual. The ride-from-home option offered a unique opportunity for riders around the globe to set their own course and be a part of the event in an entirely new way. Although the riders faced new challenges, they came together in true camaraderie to raise funds for a cause close to all our hearts: childhood cancer and related blood disorders research.
