Sow, Give & Reap
A Challenge from the Director
Have you ever read the Biblical precept found in the Gospel of Luke 6:38, "Give and it will be given to you - good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will it be poured into your lap?”  Have you found that to be true in your life?   I have, and I often hear testimonies from people who want to be a part of giving hope, love and grace to neighbors impacted by homelessness, poverty or unemployment.  I am thankful to God for the many givers who have surrounded our ministry.  So, what about you?   Imagine how much more we could do if you would take this opportunity to give, as you are able, to transform lives, for the Glory of God and the good or our community.  If you need a reminder of all the ways The Harvest Center stewards your donation, take 3 minutes to watch this video https://youtu.be/-hiHX-tlRCw; then make your contribution today!
In Christ,

Spring Transformation Program Updates
Most Successfully Completing Graduation Requirements

After four months and transitioning into Phase Three, THC's Spring Transformation Program cohort have made huge strides in completing their graduation requirements. All of the remaining participants are employed and continuing in their spiritual and professional development classes, offered at THC.

Much of the success of the program is due to an enhanced program by the staff in maximizing their availability and maintaining continuous contact.  "We set up some preventive measures to increase our effectiveness and have seen the positive results of doing this," says Brandie Meekins, Core Services Director. Following are the places our participants are employed:

Trinere - Cornwell Center at Myers Park Baptist Church (Front Desk Specialist)
Catrina - Auntie Anne's/Cinnabon (Shift Manager) & TwoGuysnaKitchen (Kitchen Aide)
Marvin - Carolina Site Contractors (Luteman & Rollerman)
Hendrix - Portofino's Italian Restuarant (Cook)
Antoinette - Convergy's (Customer Service Representative)

Stay tuned for the upcoming graduation ceremony this fall!
