Events in July
 
July 1 - Walking in Waders
(Friday)
 
It's Canada Day and what better way to celebrate then tp take a walk through the marsh in some chest waders!  See the marsh through a different lens.
 
Time: 1-2 pm and 2-3 pm
Cost: $4 per person plus Admission Fee
 
July 9 & 23 - Sunrise Paddle
(Saturday)
 
Glide through the ponds and channels in the early morning light on a Naturalist guided canoe tour. Watch the wetland come alive!
 
Time: 7 am to 9 am
Cost: $12; Free for Members
 
 
Jr. Naturalist Summer Science Camps - July
 
Our Jr. Naturalist week long day camps in July are booking well!  Many sessions are full but we still have space in the July 25-29 sessions for the Eager Eagles (ages 10 & 11) and Trekking Turtles (ages 12 & 13).

We have lots of fun adventuring around the wetland...canoeing, hiking, dip netting, exploring....

Nature Movie Nights

We will screen a nature/wildlife related movie in the Wildlife Centre theatre...a different movies each time and appealing to all ages.  We will have popcorn!
 
Time: 7pm – 9pm
Cost: $2 per person
 
August 5 & 19 - Evening Prowl
(Friday)
 
Join us as we prowl around the wetland in search of nighttime activity...from bats to bugs to birds, who know what you might see!  Please bring a flashlight.  We will bewalking the Marsh Trail Loop (3km).

Time: 8 pm - 10 pm
Cost: $5 per person

August 21 - Bird House and/or Feeder Building Workshop

Come and build a bird house and/or feeder that you can proudly display outside.  You must pre-register for this event.  Call (250) 402 6908

Cost: $15 per house/feeder
